Privacy Policy

MyBuildTool is a product of Arity Craft Limited. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

You can use every calculator without an account, and we do not ask for anything about you in order to do so. Everything below about accounts and saved projects applies only once you choose to sign up.

Calculating without an account

Nothing is stored. A calculation you run without signing in happens in your browser, reaches no database, and leaves no record — not the measurements, not the result, not a count of it having happened. Your currency and unit preferences are kept in your own browser’s storage and never sent to us.

Information you give us when you sign up

When you create an account we collect and store the information needed to identify you and let you sign back in:

• Your email address.
• An encrypted form of your password, if you sign up with a password. We never store or see the password itself.
• If you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google returns to us — your email address and account identifier. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not read your Gmail, contacts, or files.
• The date your account was created, and your subscription status.

The projects and calculations you save

When you save a calculation we store what is needed to show it to you again and to reproduce it exactly: the figures you entered, the assumptions that were applied, the calculator and its version, the unit system and the currency. If you file it into a project we also store what you typed about that project — its name, and any customer name, location or notes you chose to add.

This information is yours. It is stored against your account and protected by row-level security in the database, so that only you can read it. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Payment and banking details

We do not collect or store your banking or card details. If you choose to subscribe, payment is handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record and processes your card under its own privacy policy. We receive only what we need to unlock your account — that a subscription exists, its plan, and when the current period ends. Your card number never reaches us.

Until you consent to a subscription and complete checkout, no payment information of any kind is collected.

Who processes data for us

• Supabase — Database and authentication for your account and saved projects.
• Vercel — Hosting and delivery of the application itself.
• Google — Only if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Paddle — Only if you choose to subscribe. Card details go to them, never to us.

We use no advertising networks and no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.

Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your account and everything stored with it at any time, and we will remove it. Email admin@aritycraft.com from the address on your account. Deletion covers your profile, your saved projects and your saved calculations.

Records held by Paddle for a completed payment are governed by their retention obligations, and may need to be kept for tax and accounting purposes.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
