Terms of Use

MyBuildTool is a product of Arity Craft Limited, a company registered in the Republic of Mauritius at Coastal Road, Suite 005, Grand Baie Business Park, 30515, Grand Baie, Republic of Mauritius. In these terms “we” and “us” mean Arity Craft Limited. By using the application you agree to these terms.

What the service does

MyBuildTool turns measurements into material quantities for construction and renovation work — paint, concrete, tiles, flooring and project costs. With an account you can save those calculations into projects and open them again later.

Estimates are not advice

The figures MyBuildTool produces are calculations based on the numbers you enter and the assumptions shown alongside each result. They are not professional, engineering, building-control, financial or legal advice. Materials, site conditions, local regulations and supplier packaging vary, and you remain responsible for checking any quantity before you order it and any figure before you quote it.

We never invent a price. Costs appear only when you enter your own, and every coverage rate, waste factor and mix ratio used in a result is shown with its source so you can judge it for yourself.

Accounts

The calculators work without an account, and always will. To save projects you need one, and you are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for what happens under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Plans and pricing

Free — every calculator, with or without an account. A free account saves up to 3 projects.

Pro — $9.99 per month (USD). Unlimited saved projects, project history, shopping lists, cost estimates, PDF export and your own company branding.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply where you are. The currency you choose inside the application affects how your own estimates are displayed; it does not change the currency you are billed in, and it does not convert between currencies. The current plans are always on the pricing page.

Billing and payment

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle, acting as merchant of record. Your payment details are handled by them under their own terms; Arity Craft Limited does not receive or store your card or banking details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel, and you can cancel at any time.

What happens when a subscription ends

If your subscription is cancelled, lapses, or payment fails, then once the paid period you have already been charged for comes to an end you can no longer create or save new projects beyond the free allowance.

Your saved projects and calculations are not deleted because a subscription ended. They remain in your account and become available again if you resubscribe, unless you ask us to delete them.

Refunds

You can ask for a full refund of any payment — a first payment or a renewal — within 14 days of the date it was taken. You do not need to give a reason, and how much you have used MyBuildTool in the meantime makes no difference.

How to ask, and what happens to your account afterwards, are in the Refund Policy. Refunds are paid by Paddle, our merchant of record, back to the card or account you paid from. If something has gone wrong with a payment, contact admin@aritycraft.com and we will look at it.

Your data

What we collect and why is set out in our Privacy Policy. In short: if you calculate without an account we store nothing at all. If you sign up we store your account details so we can identify you, and the projects and calculations you save. We do not collect banking details unless you consent to a subscription, and even then they are handled by Paddle rather than by us. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time and we will remove it.

Acceptable use

Do not use MyBuildTool for anything unlawful, do not try to disrupt or overload it, do not attempt to reach data that is not yours, and do not resell access to it. We may suspend an account that does.

Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free results, and we are not liable for decisions you make on the basis of its estimates — including materials ordered, work quoted or costs incurred — or for losses arising from your use of it, to the extent the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use MyBuildTool after a change means you accept the updated terms. If a change materially affects what you pay or what you get, we will tell account holders by email.
